Save your energy for something that 's deserving...

It's troubling to me how we can put so much of our energy into things that really don't deserve it.
We see it all the time...especially right now with the upcoming presidential election.
Why is it that some people think that in order to become the president of the United States one has to do whatever is necessary, no matter how base and degrading of character?
Or that no matter what some one does to prove themselves worthy they still can never do or be enough in the eyes of some?
It makes one wonder what truly is behind some people's motives. Are your intentions based on the good of all concerned?
Some people will say that they ask questions and want answers because it is important to know if this person is truly qualified to hold the position of leader of our nation. This is a very fair and just reason,...if indeed it is the true intention. But when it gets to a point of such ridiculousness that it has gotten to lately you have to wonder.

Let me just say right now,..... This Really Is Not About The Election! I really don't care who you are voting for and I already know who I'm voting for,... your opinion does not matter to me.

My point in all this is,...why is it that we continue to put our energy into things that aren't deserving of it?
When you continue to debate back and forth knowing that what you say will have no effect on the person you are debating against what sense does it make?

If in fact that is your reasoning, that you are trying to change minds or enlighten someone to an injustice then why not put your energy behind your cause?
Spend your time and energy showing the good in what you are about and not waste your energy trying to show what you think is wrong about someone or something that you are the opposite of. If indeed there is something not right in a situation it will eventually come to light.

All that is accomplished by constantly looking at or trying to find the faults in others is that you make yourself look fearful, weak and insecure about your own abilities and in the end you have lost energy,... you have given it away to the one thing that you have been resisting. That which you have resisted has grown and strengthened because it has had to work hard at making sure that its good, that is indeed in all of us, is shown.

When you know what you are about, that what you are trying to accomplish is just and that your intentions are based in love and for the good of all concerned the Universe works with you not against you.

When you know how precious your energy is you know not to waste it on meaningless things.
Save your energy for something that's deserving of it.
